♥ Tug of War
“It’s so unfair. I’m always losing in tug of war. Humph.”
My two shih tzu have started playing tug of war. Well, at least to my 3 month old Pudding (she’s the one with the tongue sticking out) they are. To my 3 year old grumpy Butter, its more of “Go away. I just want to play with my toy in peace.”
Butter would drag Pudding (who decided to attach herself by the fangs to the toy) around with her literally dangling at one end of the toy and grunt in frustration as he tries to shake her off. It’s actually quite impressive how determine a puppy can be. -____-“
When he has successful done so, he will twist and turn away from Pudding’s tiny snapping jaws (she will tries to re-attach herself to the toy) and run full speed into my lap (and head-butting me in the process. And yes, it hurts.)
Pudding, being the smart little pup she is, knows that she can only mess with Butter when his mouth is occupied (aka bitting the toy). But when Butter is in my lap, he uses his paws to hold the toy so Pudding ends up laying down infront of us and barking angrily at Butter. lol.
But, the moment Butter turns around to lick me, Pudding snatches the toy and run like the wind. To which Butter glares at her and sulk. Haha, I love my dogs.

♥ Surgery
I took leave yesterday to bring Butter to the vet for surgery. He's getting neutered since we're getting another female dog. Good lord I had to wake up sooo freaking early to fit to the appointment time!
In fact, I had to climb out of bed much earlier than normal when I need to go to work. T___T FML
What to do? I researched on the clinics and so far the one that is freaking far has the best review. I had a scare when I realised the vet that we used to bring Butter to is known for killing animals (I might be exaggerating) due to medication negligence! I told my mum and she calmly said "Oh you didn't know?"
WTFFFFFF. Than why didn't you say anything?!
Anyway $180 bucks (heart bleeding) later, Butter is now home recovering. That bugger despite obviously suffering from the effects of the sedation and is not yet able to move properly, simply refuse to stay put and insist on walking around the house. I swear I was on the verge of heart attack every time he leaves his 'pillow' and wander around the house.
Now he have a blood patch near his incision. ): It's not bleeding as in dripping blood but you can see that there was some bleeding behind the skin. I was freaking out and erm cried a little bit but I think he should be fine. WHAT. Heart pain what! T___T I checked it again today and it didn't get worse phew.
He even scratched his ear using his hind legs. -_____________-
Yes, he looks like it doesn't hurt. AT ALL. Hello, someone just made a 2 inch incision near your genitals and while at it, took out your balls and sew it back (Ehem, a bit too much details. My bad). NOT PAIN ONE MEH?! -___________-"
But then, at least he looks active and seems okay. I'm just so worried that he'll run around or jump about and pull on his wound or whatever. I'm just praying very very hard he'll recover well with no problems.
On to happy things, I think I might be bringing Pudding home this Saturday! (: I can't wait to see her and how my two flurry darlings get along! :D :D

♥ PUDDING
I have good and bad news to share.
The bad news is... I gave the two little furballs back to my cousin. ): And now I'm trying to sell off some of their accessories and food. Which reminds me, I could put them up here uh! heh heh
Anyway, the good news is... I AM GETTING ANOTHER PUPPY!!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!!!
It's also a shih tzu and it's a little 2 months old baby girl. SHE IS SO ADORABLE!!! As you may (or may not) know, I have a 3 year old shih tzu at home named Butter. He was getting stinky and his fur is a bit tangled so we decided to bring him for grooming. The kennel that does the grooming also sells puppies and despite coming here so many times and looking at so many beautiful dogs, we have never seen one that made us go "Aww, I really want to bring it home."
But there she was, sitting in her cage staring at us, she's beautiful. For the first time, even my mum was won over. In fact, she was the one who asked if the puppy can be let out for us to take a closer look. As if the puppy understood, it immediately stood up and sat at the cage opening as if waiting for the seller to come get it.
I played with it and it was friendly and she actually reminded us of Butter! She does this paw smacking thing that Butter likes to do and when I play with it, it rolls on it back exactly like Butter will! We were seriously considering buying her but she's a bit pricey. We are also a bit hesitant because she is a girl and it would mean babies when she becomes an adult (since we have Butter at home). There was another male shih tzu puppy as well but when we tried to carry it, it struggled and tried to get away. And when I play with it, the feeling is just not the same. In the end, our heart is still with that baby girl puppy.
After discussing for a few minutes, we decided to lay down the deposit and she's coming home with us in a week or two! (: We couldn't bring her home yet because she just had a jab and she still have one more to go and microchip-ing to be done.
AND I HAVE DECIDED TO NAME HER....
In the meantime, I have decided to get Butter neutered. I was worried because I had heard horror stories about how the dogs behaviour changes after neutering and whats not but after researching, the pros outweigh the cons and I realise some of my perception of neutering are actually myths. -______-"
In fact, I've made an appointment with Dr Ling at Namly Animal Clinic after reading the great reviews online. Butter is getting neutered on the 12th. I'm getting him neutered before the pup arrive because I want to let him have ample time to rest and recover without the pup bugging him/ him bugging the pup too much. -____-"
BUT. Recently I realise his erm.. testicles area are a bit red and flaky and he keeps licking them. So I'm getting him to the vet tonight to check it out because I don't want to waste my trip down to Namly and be told that he can't have surgery that day and need to reschedule.
(Don't ask me why am I looking at his testicles. ...shit. You're thinking about it now, isn't it?)
Fine. It's just that after grooming, he's bald like an old man and his testicle is like cherry red. You can't ignore that can you? I've ignore it until recently when I decided to neuter him, I was reminded of it and when I checked yesterday, it wasn't so red anymore but there is still some redness and its flaky. Which got me confused because I don't know if I should be worried or not.
so in the end... I googled "what does normal dog testicle looks like". I know. FML.
I was brought to animal porn sites. FML x 2 -_________________-
This is because I started to doubt myself lah! I mean who the heck will keep tabs on their dog's testicles?! He could have neon red testicle all his life for all I know but I only really notice recently mah! I don't want to pay 80 bucks to the vet to have him tell me "Mdm, that's what dogs testcles look like."

♥ It's been a year!
I am SOOOOOO sleepy. ):
But I'm here blogging so I should be forgiven for not blogging for so long. #yeahright
Well, not that there's a whole lot of people complaining anyway. PFFT. Any-boo, I switched the PS3 for a Nintendo Wii and holy moley I can't stop playing! I adore Mario and like everyone know, Nintendo Wii is loaded with Mario games. Now every time I'm free, I'm either chasing after stars or jumping on mushroom. I know, my social life is practically non existent.
Right. Now that I've established the fact that I have no friends, let's move on to a brighter subject. -_________-" fml.
I've gotten the two guinea pigs from my cousin and have finally settled on a name for them.
For starters, I'm naming this greedy piggy "Cupcake".
Cupcake is more outgoing and is willing to come up to me when I go near the cage. She is always the first one to venture out when I held out pieces of veg treats for them and boy does she likes to eat! When she finishes her food, she'll run right over to the other pig and tries to rob him of his share of the food. -____-"
As for this one, I'm naming him "Pudding"!
Pudding is very shy compared to Cupcake. But he is slowly coming out of his shell. He is now willing to venture around his cage when I'm near and he will come out of his hiding spot to get the treats from my hands with some coaxing. (:
At first I was a little worried that I might start getting tired of changing their bedding (come on, let's be honest here.) but I realise that buying coloured bedding really helped. LOL! I am very influenced by colours. If you want my attention, give me bright happy colours. If you want to sell me anything, make sure it comes in pretty colours.
And the beddings I bought are beautiful!! Purple for this package and the refill I bought is a really pretty yellow. Therefore, I actually found myself eagerly waiting for Sunday to come so that I can change their bedding. -_________-
And.. and.. recently I have been looking at pictures of lop-ear rabbits. SO CUTE WEI. I also want!! But.. I got two pigs already. T__________T Ehem.
Oh I also went for the AFA Anime Fest thing that was held at Suntec awhile ago. I took a ton of photos and was dragging my sorry ass around after a few hours because I have lousy stamina. T_T But it was awesome looking at all the different cosplayers and their costumeand laughing at some ridiculous looking ones. ehem.
One more thing, it's our one year anniversary today!!
YAY! :D We went for lunch at MOF yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised at how yummy the food were! I was expecting them to be mehish cause I didn't like their ice cream. But in the end, I LOVE THE FOOD AND THE ICE CREAM!!!
Plus, the ice cream is pretty cheap!!
Now I'm craving for more ice cream. HOHOHOHO. After that, we went for movie and dinner before going back home to find more stars. #hardcoremariofan
HEHEHE. I was whining that I didn't bring along my camera to MOF because the interior was pretty and its my first time there so I really wanted to take photos of the food and all so in the end I told my boyfriend that in that case, you'll have to bring me here again. HAHAHAHHA.
#ohyeah.

♥ Bunch of things.
Hello! Did you miss me? I don't care. I'm going to take it as a yes. heh
So I have a couple things I have been meaning to blog about but I'm just too lazy or distracted to get my bum in here to do so. #honestblogger
First thing first, I have been confirmed!
Which means I am officially a staff at my current company and is no longer under probation. :D I was feeling so nervous and bugging my colleagues all morning with a tons of annoyingly repetitive questions. "What if boss fire me?", "What if she say very mean things?", "What if she scold me?"... "LATER I BECOME JOBLESS HOW?!?!?!" followed by 5 minutes of whimpering and mumblings of how my world will be so messed up. Ehem.
One of my colleague say if she hear me whimper once more she'll go to the boss herself and get me fired. She's just joking though.
..I hope. T________T
Moving on.
I have decided to go on a crazy project and that is to revamp my room!
In fact, I might be going all project runwa-.. wait that's clothes. Eh got what program is on furniture one?? Okay nevermind, I cant think of any. Back to what I was saying.. I am going all DIY on my room. As in literally, buying freaking whole huge planks of wood and cutting it up and tada I get a table type of DIY. We went to look at some wood importers the other day and I am in the process of drawing the furniture plans and all that jazz.
All I can say is.. What the heck was I thinking. I mean YAY! (Ehem)
By the way, remember the guinea pigs I've mentioned earlier?
Well, what do you know! They are borned!!!
Awwww. How cute! I've already thought of the names. "Burger & Ketchup" they will be named.
Heheheh. All the animals in my house are all named after food. Sundae, Butter, Peanut and now Burger and Ketchup. -________-"
Anyway, I don't know what gender are they yet though since its still at my cousin's. Will be collecting them on the 11th. Which reminds me that I need to go make them a cage. Yes, MAKE. I'm all DIY guru now. Plus all the nitty gritty stuffs that I need to get them.
I can forsee an empty bank account. Sighs.
OH OH OH BEFORE I FORGET.
The awesomesauce boyfriend got me a Playstation 3!!!!!

He say is my early birthday present. Ahhhh!!! HIGHHH. Now I can play my ninja gaiden and little big planet and many more. Awesomeeeeee. And he is super nice cause whenever he come over, he will tell me to go ahead and play. Even if I spend the whole day playing, he will still say its okay. But I will keep worrying if he will be bored though but he kept reassuring me. :D
HAPPPPPPPPPPYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!
Actually that's part of the reason why I want to revamp my room. So that I have a proper place to keep everything. Somehow having the console expose in the open makes it feel so vulnerable. -____-
By the way, I taught Butter how to roll over last night. SO SMART!!!! HEH.

♥ Guinea Pigs and the damn bus
I am extremely annoyed.
It was pouring cats and dogs as I make my way to the office. I was struggling to keep my dress from flying all over while wrestling with the third umbrella that my mum gave me that's broken. My hair was blown into my face and I can barely see but I don't have any free hand to brush it aside.
I muttered, "It can't get any worse than this. PFFT."
Next thing I know? A SBS bus rushing to the pits of hell to get reincarnated roared passed me, promply sending a huge wave of puddle onto an unexpecting trying to stay dry ME.

Seriously. Life/Fate/God/The mighty one/whoever is listening to my mutterings, please get this straight. When I say "It can't get any worse than this", it's just a rhetorical statement. Not a freaking challenge. You do NOT have to prove me wrong.
As for the SBS bus driver, I hope your wife refuse to have sex with you for the next one year or two. I still don't like you.
On to happier things to distract myself from my extremely wet dress which is annoying the heck out of me.
My cousin promised to give me two guinea pigs!!!!!
She sent me the photo of the mama pig and OH MY GOD, she looked like she's wearing a wig. I'm not even kidding.

I TOLD YOU, RIGHT??? She looks huge cause she's heavily pregnant. According to my cousin, she is supposed to pop the babies in September but it's well into October now but still no sign of the babies. ): We'll have to wait patiently.
That's the papa pig by the way. I love the colours on him! I hope the babies get a mixture of colours. I have been researching on the pigs and I have decided to build a DIY cage for them! And I wonder how Butter will react to them. We'll see.

I TOLD YOU, RIGHT??? She looks huge cause she's heavily pregnant. According to my cousin, she is supposed to pop the babies in September but it's well into October now but still no sign of the babies. ): We'll have to wait patiently.
That's the papa pig by the way. I love the colours on him! I hope the babies get a mixture of colours. I have been researching on the pigs and I have decided to build a DIY cage for them! And I wonder how Butter will react to them. We'll see.

♥ Stop stepping on my white sneakers, people.
You know what drives me crazy? No, not the heart thumping, cheeks blushing type of crazy. I'm talking about the bitch fit want to tear you apart and season you with salt kind of crazy.
It's when I'm wearing white sneakers and people 'accidentally' steps on them. ARGH. Please, someone enlighten me. Why is it that NO ONES 'accidentally' steps on me when I'm wearing slippers/flip flops? Why does this always happen when I'm wearing white sneakers?! WHY?
But that's not what is bugging me today. Thing is, when I was on the bus today, this Philippino woman came and sat across me. And as she was trying to get her fat ass into the seat, that bitch stepped on me! FULL FLEDGE.
I stared at her AND BITCH DIDNT EVEN APOLOGISE.
SHE ACTUALLY MADE EYE CONTACT BEFORE LOOKING AWAY AS IF NOTHING HAPPENED.

♥ Learning to smile.
Today, I'm going to show you something that has never been shown on my blog. (Actually, every new photo have never been shown on my blog -____- that's why its called 'new'.) Ok rephrase.
I'm going to show you something that.. have never existed ever since I was 4? Wait. Don't sound right also. AIYAH. Show you all first than I explain.
This is probably the only photograph in which you will find me smiling (teeth and all). It's very very seldom my teeth greets the world wtf. In fact, if you take a look at my blog, you'll see that practically 8 out of 10 of my photos has me pouting in it. The other 2 have me either doing something weird or smiling without teeth.
People are always asking me why do I pout in my photos all the time and well, the thing is... I dont like my smile. I honestly cross my heart thinks that I don't have a nice smile. And it just looks weird when I smile anyway. -________-"
And by the way, why on hell does the photos taken from iphone turn out so god damn grainy? Seriously! I have a legal and sound excuse to get an iphone 4. It's about time. *grumble* Anyway, after taking the above photo, I started contemplating about getting my teeth fixed.
... had a heart attack when I googled the prices for invislign though. Hell, the prices dentist charges these days.

And why on earth do our graduation have to be so freaking early?! Sigh. But looking at all the ang mos in weird looking robes up on stage (they are the ones presenting the certificate to us) does makes me feel like I'm in hogwarts. No really! Especially when all the graduates are in robes as well. Ahhhh, hogwarts! *wave wand in the air* I wouldn't have been surprise if one of the portraits on display start talking to me.
Okay, not true. I'll prolly shit my pants but you get what I mean!
What else. OH OH OH! I took up exotic dance class. I know. I have no idea what I was thinking either. T_____T Anyohhow, it's pretty fun. (If you call aching for at least 3 days every week, "fun".) And it's kinda sexy too since all the moves are so feminine. (Once again, if you call wincing and flinching every time you remotely moved a muscle, "sexy".)

♥ A little update
Alright Alright, My blog is collecting some serious dust.
Well, thing is, I have been putting off blogging because I was feel rather dejected finding a job. And I don't want any potential employer creeping here to read about that. Fine, they might never have found my blog but you never know!!
But the good news is.. I GOT A JOB!
In fact I think my title is pretty cool. Regional Marketing Executive. #cheapthrilltillmax
God knows why but I feel soooooooo freaking drained all the time now. Majiam I was doing manual labor all day. I'm dozing off at 7pm and I slept all the way to 4pm on saturday AND still feeling tired. FML. I serously could not fathom how anyone could have a active lifestyle while they hold a job. Seriously!
I woke up at 4pm today and I still could barely keep my eyes open to watch anime!
Anyway, on a side note, I need to stop eating for like a freaking month. Last week, I met up with the boyfriend and his family for dinner and somehow ended up eating steamboat buffet. Yesterday, I met up with my friends for sushi and ended up having sushi buffet. Today, My parents brought my boyfriend to shabu to celebrate his birthday and we had steamboat and BBQ buffet.

♥ Butter and the vet
Carrying Butter to the vet is seriously no joke. My dad drove us there and all I need to do is carry him to the vet, grab some doggie supplies and back to the car and I'm already having muscle ache (my hand is shaking as I was preparing lunch).
That's how heavy my dog is! -_________-"
It doesn't help that I was wearing shorts and my dog decided to decorate my legs with his nails. In fact, I now resembles a child with an abusive mother whose favorite weapon is a cane. Seriously, there is a freaking crazy huge scratch right across my left thigh and it hurts like a bitch. I could tell people I was attacked by a parang and no one will question me. How's that for appreciation. (Grumble)
Well, in case you're wondering, Butter have a gaping wound on his head and I've spotted pus oozing out of it. I know, gross. The vet confirm that its a infection and gave him some medication telling me to keep an eye on him. But it should go away in about a week. If it didn't, I'll need to bring him back again because then it could be a sort of tumor. D:
So fingers crossed and praying very very hard, he'll recover soon. ): and my legs wont have any scars thanks to him.

I am being an extremely responsible owner and gave my dog a bath. Before I get him in the toilet, I keep urging him to pee/poo but he was totally uninterested. Thinking he don't need to relief himself, I proceed to give him a good scrubbing down, dry him, brush him, apply cream over his infection and I am proud to say he smells amazing now!
And the moment I let him down..

♥ I'm not dead
I know I know, I have not been updating recently.
But listen, I have a really good
And well... a little anxious. My exams are finally over and I'm waiting for my results which will be out by this week. I can't wait! I am quite confident that I'll be okay but until I lay my eyes on those results, I'm simply going to be me and totally worry about it. Other than that, I've been sending out resumes and trying to kick start my career. So far I've been to a few interviews and although there are certain times that I might be mentally kicking myself for not performing as well as I want to, I feel that I'm becoming better at tackling those nerve wrecking interview questions.
So I'm keeping my fingers crossed and I hope something suitable will come my way. (:
Oh did I mention I pop by the book fair and gaming event at suntec the other day? It was a shame I forgot my camera so I had to make do with my iphone but I think I went a little too hyper snapping cosplayers here and there and going gaga over the games. Oh well! I'll prolly update in the next few days. Stay tuned!

Yes, I'm still alive. I just want to tell you that I have not been blogging because erm, exams are coming and I'm busy with erm, studying. ... What? What's with that look!

To prevent getting struck by lightning for this blatant lie I admit I was gaming more than studying BUT I did study okay! My notes are so colourful its a piece of art. PFFT. Anyway, I will properly update once my exams are over! Don't abandon me kay!!

♥ So sweet can give you diabetes!
Okay, I really should stop procrastinating. In fact, I've told myself to stop procrastinating so many times on this blog that I had actually learnt how to spell 'procrastinating' without having to rely on the spell check. FML.
Anyway, I am here to show off cause the boyfriend made me feel so touched the other day. HAHAHA, okay lah, not really show off lah. Just want to share with you only.

Okay I lied. I procrastinated again. I actually did the top of this post last night and saved it as draft and went off to gaming. -______________-"
Anyway, I think my boyfriend is very sweet! For our anniversary, we actually sorta have a plan to try out MOF for dinner. But he had OT and I was feeling rather hungry (didn't eat anything the whole day) and was thinking of canceling the dinner and just spend the day at home like we normally would. Surprisingly, he told me to wait awhile more and he would try to get off work soon. Totally unexpected! I was expecting him to say okay one loh! HAHA.
30 Minutes later, he called to say he's FREEEEEEEE!
But by the time we went down to City Hall, I was on the brim of crossing over and seeing the light already, so we went to Soup Spoon instead cause it's nearer. HAHA.
He had the breadbowl while I had the large bowl of Simon and Garfunkel Chicken and Mushroom Ragout. But the waiter gave me the wrong order and it became Tangy Tomato with Basil instead. -____-
But when I first got the soup, I was still thinking "Weird, I remembered having alot of potatoes and meat in my soup. Why now all become carrot and peppers?" But since I was the one who introduced this soup I have to suck it up and kept saying "Wah, this soup so nice!" infront of my boyfriend. -____-
And when my boyfriend finally got his soup, WE started wondering why the soups different colour one. Plus why mine taste so sour and different! That's when it finally dawn on me.. wrong order. -________- Took us so long to figure it out loh. FML.
But the nice boyfriend let me have his soup in the end. HAHAHAHA. I simply LOVE Simon and Garfunkel Chicken and Mushroom Ragout. (Even though I seriously can't pronounce the name. I always order it as "Can I have a bowl of the simon something something. Thank you." HAHAHAHAH. wtf I know.)
Oh and the boyfriend ordered a set so it also came with a half sandwich.
It's some smoked ham something, I can't remember. Thats the problem with procrastination paired with a bad memory. SIGHS.
So you'll think by now, we're both damn full right? Well, you're correct. But that didn't stop us from getting more food. #iseemywaistlineexpandingohshit
Coincidently, he wants to get food from Chippy but being the potato lover I am, I want to try the best fries forever which is located right beside each other. No really, the store is named 'Best Fries Forever'. You tell me lah, can don't try anot? Best fries FOREVER leh.
Did I mention that I can foresee my waistline expanding? So he got his erm mash potato (!) with cheesy hotdog which didn't look very yummylicious in photo.
But very VERY yummylicious in your mouth. Actually, the mash potato tastes exactly like those you can get in 7 eleven. As for the cheesy hotdog, go get it in NTUC and toast it in the oven and tadah! You get the same thing at a cheaper price. #cheapskate
And I got my fries and I chose the cheesy dip. It's not bad I guess. But prolly not on my top list of cravings. After which we went back to my place to watch solitary.
AHHAHAHA the end. No lah, actually he gave me a surprise. :D

And since the 4th month is not like an one year anniversary or anything, I was fully expecting it to be a 'go out have dinner the end' type of thing but as we're finishing dinner, he handed me a gift!!
AHHHH!! DAMN CUTE RIGHT!!! It's a scheduler that we saw the other day and I totally went nuts over it cause its so cute! Plus I have a huge weakness for notebooks. God knows how many times I've bought those pretty notebooks home but ended up collecting them instead cause I just can't bear to write in them.

♥ SUSHI DESU!
Well, guess what I made for lunch this fabulous tuesday afternoon.
Okay fine, it's the simple boiled prawn on rice sushi but that's one of my favorite mah!Plus I only have prawns in my fridge. Ehem. But whatever, it looks gorgeous and it is DELICIOUS!
I know what you're thinking. "It's just freaking boiled prawn on rice! How wrong can you go?!" BUT YOU ARE WRONG! *defensive* Cause the rice needs special seasoning okay! Plus I didn't have any rice vinegar so I have to make my own. Not make my own rice vinegar lah, I not THAT pro. I mean make my own sushi rice seasoning. And it's so fun kneading the rice into bite size sushi rice ball!
I think it looks not bad for a first try! Ehem, OKAY LAH. Some of the prawn look abit erm, funny but can don't so picky anot! It all tastes the same once it's in your mouth. *shifty eyes*
I had fun though. Maybe I shall venture into more sushi making soon! Tempura, salmon, unagi here I come!

♥ A movie treat
And so my part II never came. -________-" Sorry lah, Cheena new year. Can't be helped. (excuses) Ehem, anyway, did I mention that I caught a movie three days in a row? AND did I mention that I caught the same movie on day one and day three?
Er..Yeap. I did. Hehe. Plus they are both local movies; Homecoming and It's a great great world!
The day started with me going to the boyfriend's house for steamboat and by the way, the soup is omgoodnessgraciousmegivemeonemorebowlnow yummy! Being the soup junkie I am, I practically down the entire pot. Once the eating is done, it's mahjong time!
Yes, I am on mahjonging terms with his family already. Are you impressed? HAHAHAHA ok cheap thrill. Anyway, I WON TWO BUCKS. In fact, the boyfriend is the only one who lost. HAHAHHA. Actually come to think of it, so far this year I have not lost any money in all the mahjong sessions. I'm so gonna have a good year. OH YEAH~
Anyway, before we started mahjong, we couldn't decide if we should watch Homecoming or It's a great great world so we ended up booking tickets for both. One for the night and one for the next evening. (:
To tell you the truth, I feel mega proud that I could get along with his family and he could get along with mine. I actually like it a lot when the boyfriend hang out with my family and vice versa. Being quite a family person, things like this really does matters to me. And so that's why I kept asking the boyfriend if he likes that we all could get along just so he would tell me how I'm the only girlfriend that interacted with his family the most. HAHAHAHA CHEAP THRILL TO THE MAX. Plus they are so nice, did I mention the mum wanted Bens & Jerry and even paid for my ice cream. SO NICE RIGHT.
Nevermind, once I graduate and get my job I can treat them to yummy food too! :D
Moving on, I know that my parents have always liked comedies from Jack Neo so I decided to pull out some notes from my ang pao collection and treat them to a movie! Well actually, I initially wanted to treat them to Its a great great world as my grandfather used to work in the theater located in 大世界 and my dad have a lot of memories of that place so I thought it will be quite a treat to take him on a trip down memory lane. But in the end, they decided to go for something more light hearted and chose Homecoming instead!
I kind of miss the times when I was working. I always look forward to the end of the month when I receive my salary not just because i means I will be richer but because that's when I will take them out for a dinner, etc. They never bear to spend on themselves so its really nice to bring them out and pamper them for a change. Sighs.

♥ Of Taiwan and Hong Kong. I
So here's the long arse post about my trip to Taiwan and Hong Kong... last year. (Ehem) Better late than never right? T___T
This is a five days trip and I was practically dreaming and fantasizing about all the dumplings and whats not waiting for me in Taiwan and conveniently avoided thinking about what my weighting scale will say to me when I get back.
Sighs, anyway. First thing first, compulsory vainpot shots of yours truly. I'm loving this vintage effect by the way. Now I can camwhore with STYLE. MWAHHAHAHA-.. ehem.
That's the only three shots I took before I promptly went to sleep. For some reason, I always get super drowsy whenever I'm way wayyyyyyy up in the sky. I am highly confident I would be able to sleep through a 17 hour flight if I want to.
But than, I got woken up for..
To be honest, didn't really like it very much. I don't eat yogurt, the eggs is tasteless and the hash brown is soggy with oil. MEH. But than again, I'm going to Taiwan. The land of good food so who cares about some on flight breakfast!
Oh yeah~ uh huh~ Oh yeah~
By the time we arrived and got our luggages sorted out, it's dinner time. Lucky for us, we're conveniently located within walking distance of Xi Men Ding which is one of the main tourist attraction aka shopping paradise aka if you didn't visit Xi Men Ding, you have not visited Taiwan. I made my point.
Of course, what's on our mind wasn't shopping.. yet. We are STARVING. And I am dying for my long awaited braised pork rice and dumplings! Oh my god, just thinking about it makes me hungry. I don't know what am I doing to do when I see the pictures later. Wait, let me get some snacks first.
Ok back. Blogging makes me fat. fml.
So we finally settled on this street store which is pretty crowded with like tons of side dishes for us to choose from. And true to our family's tradition, my mum ordered enough food to feed an entire army. In fact, make it an entire starving army.

Ok lah, to be fair, I wasn't complaining. The food is mad cheap and mad delicious. The cousin and I had long came to an agreement that we'll eat first, face reality later. In fact, we've kept to our principle so well that after dinner, we freaking went the extra mile.
We bought desserts and dumplings. T____________T
In my defense, the dumplings are sold at 10 for 50 Taiwan dollars which is roughly 2 bucks over here. It's not in my Singaporean blood to give up on such a good offer. Its in my calling to buy it and erm.. eat it.

The seller even gave me a free egg! (defensive)
(abrupt change of subject)
So after our extremely fulfilling dinner, its time for entertainment. Shopping is expected but feeling adventurous, we decided to try out this 4D thingy we spotted along the way. Thinking back, we prolly shouldn't have tried especially right after we've practically cleared a week's worth of food. -___-" Oh well.
But than again, it's only 100 Taiwan dollars. In other words, 4 bucks. Why not? Oh and that's us rocking the 4D spectacles we're supposed to wear before heading in the room. Made me feel like man in black really to kick some arse! Ok basically, there's a few 'story' for you to choose from. We chose the one with snakes and jungles. You are then brought into a room with a screen where you'll watch the 'show' with 3D glasses and the seat will rock back and forth along with the 'show'. You scream like you'll die and than before you know it, the show is over and the staffs says bye bye to you. The end.
Oh right, and as though we haven eaten enough, we decided to snack. Again. -_________-
In our defense, there's something very interesting about this store. Notice it yet? No? It's okay, I'm give you a bigger hint. Erm, if you're viewing this in the office or there's kids nearby, you might want to.. you know, cover their eyes or something. Ehem.
Because well you see, this store sells custard filled tarts. This isn't that uncommon in Taiwan but the thing is, they sell tarts shaped like this.
Erm, yeah. Now won't the image of the girls munching on these bad boys be sizzling hot. (Or morbid if you think about it.)
(looks at photo) (chant: I will resist cracking colour related stereotype joke. I will resist cracking colour related stereotype joke.)
Look at that thing, it's as big as my watermark. wtf. I highly suspect boyfriends will forbid their girlfriends to go near this store. After all, I can imagine how devastating it much be on the ego and self confidence. Come on, who on earth have a erm, junk the size of a pepsi can?
HAHA, now everytime you drink a pepsi you'll think of that.
So anyway, we bought some to munch on. After all, we came all the way to Taiwan didn't we? For sure we have to be adventurous and try out their goodies! With that healthy mindset, I personally marched bravely to the seller and ordered..
.. their normally looking egg shaped tarts.
WHAT. I don't want to look like I'm giving a blowjob all the way in Taiwan lah! People innocent and shy one okay! PFFT.
Erm, if you're underage.. blow jobs means, erm, the tart might be too hot and I need to blow it to cool it do-.. oh nevermind. Just.. erm, forget what you read just now. T_________T
Along the way, we went into this sweets and chocolate shop and to our surprise, they sell the most unique looking chocolates! Here, I'll show you.
They have oilment looking chocolates, mahjong looking chocolates, boobies looking chocolates, junk looking chocolates, sanitary pad looking marshmallow and my favorite of all, condom looking chocolates! HAHAHAHA. Super cute or what?!
I literally stood there giggling like a 5 year old for a good ten minutes each time I pick up a new chocolate. -__- But I have to say, I really like the sanitary pad and condom looking ones. THEY LOOK SO REAL. I bought both and left the condom chocolate on the hotel desk when my parents came in to check on us and I could have swore their eyes literally popped out of their socket.
I spent a good 15 minutes convincing them its fake and I'm not able to get myself laid in Taiwan while my cousin laughed her head off. -________-
